A Year at Mission Hill

Who's Behind This?

None of this series would be possible without the efforts of filmmakers Tom and Amy Valens and the school community of Mission Hill. Tom and Amy filmed Mission Hill over the course of a year for a full documentary planned for release in fall 2013. This video series came together when Tom and Amy reached out for support to educator and news commentator Sam Chaltain. Sam brought Ashoka, IDEA and the NoVo Foundation together and the idea of making a series of short episodes to highlight a year at Mission Hill was born out of the possible collaboration. The concept quickly grew into a larger opportunity to share the story across lots of different education organizations, schools, and nonprofits.  So now, anyone can share "A Year at Mission Hill" - even on their own websites.

Now, more than 34 organizations and counting are finding ways of sharing a year of this remarkable school.
